Crude and oil product prices fell Friday, once again moving counter to the strength- ening dollar, as traders mulled the prospects of a shift in the US Federal Reserve's mone- tary policy. Nymex December crude fell 75￠ to close at $81.43 per barrel. In London on ICE Fu- tures, December Brent settled at $83.15, down 44￠. Nymex November gasoline con- tracts slipped 0.94￠ to end at $2.1045 per gallon while November heating oil finished at $2.2201, down 2.34￠ for the day.
