Israel's cabinet on Sunday agreed to fully adopt the conclusions of a government-com- missioned committee that recommended in- creasing the state's share of revenues from its oil and natural gas resources. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu last week approved the recommendations, which call for the state to increase its share of profits from the sector to up to 62%, up from some 30% now (IOD Jan.20,p6). Royalties are to remain the same at 12.5%.
