Borders Secures Falklands Rig

UK-listed Borders & Southern Petroleum has secured the semisubmersible Eirik Raude drilling rig for its exploration campaign in the South Falklands Basin after signing a let- ter of intent with Ocean Rig. Under the proposed contract, Borders has committed to drill two firm wells that will test the Darwin and Stebbing prospects, with an option for three further wells.
