A more active-than-normal cyclone season in Western Australia cut Woodside's production and sales in the three months ended Mar. 31, the Australian firm said in its quarterly report. That may spell more bad news for its flagship Pluto LNG development, threatening further delays to the 4.3 million ton per year plant, whose start-up had already been pushed back by six months and costs reassessed A$900 million (US$948 million) higher at A$14 billion last November (IOD Dec.1,p2).
