Swedish upstream independent Lundin Petroleum's third-quarter financial results came in above analysts' expectations on Wednesday as the group also hiked its full- year oil and gas output guidance. Production for the three months to Sep. 30 was 32,100 boe/d, with strong contribu- tions from the Alvheim and Volund fields offshore Norway. As a result, Lundin nar- rowed its previous guidance range to 32,000-34,0000 boe/d from 31,000-34,000 boe/d and said it aims to double the group's output to over 60,000 boe/d within the next five years.
