Russian Export Duties to Rise

Russian crude oil export duties will in- crease by 4.5% in January in line with rising oil prices. Duties should average $317.50/metric ton ($43.30/bbl), up from $303.80/ton ($41.40/bbl) in December. Cal- culations are based on the price of Russia's Urals grade from Nov. 15 to Dec. 14, which averaged $85.77/bbl, according to the fi- nance ministry.
