Independent producer Anadarko Petrole- um provided an update on the progress of its drilling program in the emerging Marcellus and Eagle Ford shale plays on Tuesday, and shed more light on its recent offshore discov- eries in international waters. Anadarko Chief Executive James Hackett said the company is ahead of its infrastruc- ture needs in the burgeoning Eagle Ford Shale in South Texas.
