Acting Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan will focus his remaining year in of- fice on ensuring that the national election to be held in 2011 will be free and fair. “There are certain things that we can achieve” in a year, Jonathan said during a speech at the Council on Foreign Relations in Washington. “I’ve promised that the 2011 elections in Nigeria will be credible.”
