Crude prices rebounded Tuesday as traders turned bullish in response to positive corporate earnings reports and the crude market underwent a technical bounce. Expiring Nymex May crude futures rose $2 to $83.45 per barrel. More widely traded June futures, which now take over as the front-month contract, climbed 72￠ to $83.85. In London on ICE Futures, June Brent finished at $84.80, up 57￠.
