MARKET EYE: Espo Premiums Climb Higher

Russia's East Siberia-Pacific Ocean (Espo) blend crude has traded at another record-high premium, traders said on Friday, as demand for the medium-sweet grade has been firm on the back of strong middle distillate cracks in Asia. In its latest tender, Espo producer Rosneft's sold five 100,000- metric ton cargoes: two to Warly International, two to Exxon Mo- bil and one to Vitol, at premiums between $1.70 and $2.20 per barrel over Dubai. These are the highest premiums the grade has ever commanded, topping last month's $1.40.
