Africa-focused Afren is to acquire an interest in Nigeria抯 onshore license OML 26 through its 45% holding in local firm First Hydrocarbon Nigeria (FHN), pending regulatory approval. FHN has agreed with Royal Dutch Shell, Total and Eni to take a 45% interest in the license, which contains the producing Ogini and Isoko fields, as well as three undeveloped finds.
