IEA 'Recognizes' EU on Climate

European Union Energy Commissioner Andris Piebalgs said the International Energy Agency's (IEA) World Energy Outlook 2009, published last week, recognizes the contribution made by EU energy policies in fighting climate change, but added that much remains to be done if temperature increases are to be kept below 2°C.
