US Occidental and Abu Dhabi's state Mubadala inked a final agreement over the weekend with Bahrain's National Oil and Gas Authority (Noga) to boost production from the onshore Awali field (IOD Apr.27,p6). The two companies and a Noga subsidiary will set up a joint venture to operate the project under the development and production sharing agreement. Oxy will hold a 48% stake, Mubadala 32% and the Noga subsidiary the remainder.
