Aker Solutions and joint-venture partners CB&I and WorleyParsons have won a $135 million front-end engineering and design (Feed) contract for phase two of the full-field development of Kazakhstan's giant Kashagan oil field.Work includes Feed for both on- and offshore facilities and pipelines, as well as options for early works, detail engineering, procurement services, technical assistance, and design/system integrity. It also provides for optional Feeds for the Aktote, Kairan and Kalamkas fields.
