Maari Sees First Oil

Australia's Horizon Oil said Wednesday that first oil has been produced from the OMV-operated Maari development in the Taranaki Basin off New Zealand. Horizon said MR3P8, the first production well, has been hooked up to production facilities and is flowing oil to the floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel Raroa (IOD Feb.18,p8).
