Norway's Government Pension Fund, the sovereign wealth fund that invests in foreign stocks and bonds, has had roughly a 0% return on its investments so far in 2009, Yngve Slyngstad, the executive director of Norges Bank, Norway's central bank, told parliament on Wednesday. "Markets were very weak in January, so the portfolio dropped further, but markets picked up and total returns are at around 0% so far this year," Reuters quoted Slyngstad as saying.
