Canpotex joined ICL, BPC and K+S as the fourth company to fix contract deals in China. Headline contract prices are widely understood to be at $227/t cfr including 180 days' credit, despite no official confirmation for some deals. Uralkali has yet to conclude its contract deal but has fixed the Koszalin to Kandla, carrying 33,000t of MOP in a deal with IPL, indicating that confidence in a deal is high. Canpotex has agreed contracts for the supply of MOP with its traditional Indian buyers Zuari, Chambal, CIL and Tata. And a potential contract for Canpotex to supply IPL is understood to be pending.
