The market remains largely stable, but a range of issues in Brazil have led to slowing demand and a subsequent eroding of the low end of the assessment for granular MOP this week. Europe remains dogged by thin liquidity, as poor crop yields, low season, credit issues and lower demand for potash for NPKs and PKs have led to cuts in demand. Suppliers described the market as unusually quiet, even taking into account the low season.
