EU Commission proposes to cut Ukraine duties

The European Commission has put forward a set of additional measures to enhance economic and trade relations with Ukraine. Under the new proposals, Ukrainian fertilizers will be granted favourable access to EU markets for a period of three years. The import duty on urea will be cut to 3pc from 5.6pc currently, while duties on imports of ammonium sulphate, CAN and NPKs will be removed.
