Bumitama bought 40,000t of standard MOP from Canpotex distributors on local Indonesian terms. Canpotex said prices were equivalent to $225/t cfr. Local information suggested the price was lower at Rp3,100-3,200/kg fot bagged excluding VAT, equivalent to around $205-215/t cfr bulk at current exchange rates. A CPO plantation is still in the market for 10,000-12,000t of standard MOP, and has received offers of Rp3,300/kg, but no deal has been reached yet.
