Vopak Horizon Fujairah Has Launched Phase 7 of the Expansion of its Terminal, Which Will Add Capacity of 478,000 Cu M

Vopak Horizon Fujairah Limited announced on 30 December that it had embarked on the seventh phase of the expansion of its terminal in the port of Fujairah, which will add crude oil storage capacity of 478,000 cubic meters. This phase will entail the erection of five storage tanks and the installation of another manifold and pipeline connections to the port’s new berth for Very Large Crude Carriers (VLCCs), boosting Vopak Horizon’s total storage capacity to over 2.6 million cu m. The expansion and the connections to the new jetty are due to be completed by the second half of 2016.
