BGP Has Launched 3-D Seismic Work in an Area of 2,500 sq km Encompassing the City and the Bay of Kuwait

BGP Inc., which is part of the China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) group, has launched a 3-D seismic survey covering an area of 2,500 sq km in Kuwait Bay and the neighboring town of al-Jahra, announced on 10 August Mr. Manahi al-Anazi, Executive Vice-President for exploration and gas at the Kuwait Oil Company (KOC). The survey was the subject of a contract signed in March with the Chinese firm (AOG 16.3.2015).
