Retroactive Prices of Qatari Crudes Cut by $10.05-10.45/B for October Liftings

On 6 November Qatar Petroleum (QP) announced the new retroactive prices for October liftings of the two crudes it sells under term contracts. The price of Qatar Land was reduced by $10.45/barrel to $86.50/b from $96.95/b in September and that of Qatar Marine by $10.05/b to $84.90/b for October from $94.95/b before. Prices have been cut by a cumulative $24.15/b and $24.05/b respectively since June, representing reductions of 21.8% and 22.1%. The two crudes are now at their lowest levels since November 2010, when Qatar Land was at $84.77/b and Qatar Marine at $83.40/b.
