Imports of Liquefied Natural Gas Need to Start as Quickly as Possible, Says the Energy Ministter

After inviting the new President of the Moroccan Federation of Energy, Mr. Mohamed Fettah, for talks on 15 May, the Minister of Energy, Mines, Water and the Environment, Mr. Abdelkader Amara, pointed out that arranging for Morocco to import liquefied natural gas (LNG) was one of the most important matters on which his ministry was working and that these imports needed to start “as quickly as possible” to meet the country’s energy needs.
