Neoen Teams Up with TAQA Arabia for Renewable Energy Projects in Egypt

The French company Neoen has announced the signing of an agreement with TAQA Arabia, part of Egypt’s Citadel Capital group, aimed at strengthening their commitment to undertaking renewable energy projects in Egypt, especially in the areas of solar and wind power. The two companies have thus submitted a joint bid in response to the tender for the Kom Ombo photovoltaic project in Upper Egypt, in which the Egyptian government is offering concessions for the construction and operation of 10 20-MW solar power plants that are expected to cost a total of ?300 million.
