Coalition Has Destroyed 16 Refineries and Oil Wells and Targeted the Conoco Gas Complex Controlled by IS

The coalition led by the United States has been carrying out air strikes against the strongholds and oil, military and logistical infrastructure in Syria controlled by Islamic State (IS, or Daech in Arabic) since 23 September. The main information available comes from the London-based Syrian Observatory of Human Rights (SOHR) and the United States Central Command (Centcom). The coalition taking action against IS in Iraq or Syria has expanded to include the following countries: the United States, France, the United Kingdom, Belgium, Denmark, the Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Qatar, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Bahrain.
