An Evaluation of EU-Russian Energy Relations A Policy Perspective

More than half of the EU's natural gas and 30% of its crude oil imports originate from the Russian Federation. Dependence on Russian energy imports and occasional disruptions of pipeline gas flow to European customers have raised concerns regarding the security of gas imports from Russia in the past few years.
