China’s Qinhuangdao coal stocks fall

Coal stocks at China’s major transshipment port ofQinhuangdao edged lower this week, as offtake by thecountry's utilities gained and fresh deliveries slumped.Inventories at Qinhuangdao port fell by 215,000t froma week earlier to 3.26mn t as of today, data from China’scoal transport and distribution association CCTD show.Qinhuangdao port stocks have dropped steadily since mid-October and are at their lowest level in at least five years.
