Prompt quarter Powder River basin (PRB) coal prices rose inover-the-counter trading today, but the rest of the market wasunchanged.The second quarter financial PRB contract cleared CME at$9.60/short ton. That was 15? higher than yesterday’s physicalmarket assessment.No other US deals were heard today. But bids and offerssuggested other coal prices were unchanged.
