Central Appalachian rail-originated coal markets receded fromrecent gains in limited over-the-counter trading today.Prices for CSX rail-originated coal dipped by a little overone percent after most markets had risen for four straightdays. Trading activity thinned out today, with just one dealvaluing the January CSX 12,500 Btu/lb contract at $58.25/shortton changing hands. That was 70? below Argus' assessmentyesterday but still 11pc higher than a week ago.
