Possible enactment of a stalled river infrastructure bill that boosts funding and aims to speed up US inland waterway and port projects, including some that would benef t coal, is not expected until May, waterways off cials said today. Coal would directly benef t from the f rst project to get funding - the replacement of locks 2, 3 and 4 on the lower Monongahela river. Most of the product moving through the locks is coal.
