Georgia Power's Plant Bowen remains down

Georgia Power's 3,160MW Plant Bowen remains off line but the utility has begun a preliminary investigation to see if three of four coal-fired units can be brought back. The entire plant, located in Cartersville, Georgia, was taken out of service after a 4 April explosion occurred at unit 2, which was starting a maintenance outage.
