Dry bulk rates for cargo from the Americas slid further last week, amid limited coal exports and plentiful vessel availabilities. In the Panamax market, the US Gulf-Rotterdam rate had the week's heaviest losses, falling 550/metric tonne to $14.75/mt. Steelmaker ArcelorMittal was due to field a vessel at that level for a 20-27 June stem at that price.
