摘要

Since the discovery of Grignard reagents (RMgX) by the reaction of organic halides (RX) with magnesium metal in 1900, numerous efforts have been devoted to revealing the reactivity of these species and to applying these reagents in organic synthesis. The addition of organomagnesium compounds across carbon-carbon unsaturated bonds (carbomagnesation) is one of the principal and important methods employed for the generation of Grignard reagents with concomitant C-C bond formation; this method provides a straightforward entry into Grignard reagents having a unique carbon skeleton.
