Evraz to suspend Pueblo rail and steelmaking units

Evraz North America Inc. will temporarily idle steelmaking and rail operations at its mill in Pueblo, Colo., effective March 19 and 26, respectively, a company spokeswoman confirmed."The idling, which is expected to last two to three weeks, is necessary to align production with demand," she told AMM via e-mail March 17. About 450 employees are expected to be affected.
