ISA completes waste business segment sale

Industrial Services of America Inc. (ISA) has completed the divestiture of its waste services segment as part of a strategy to focus on its core metal recycling business.The $7.5-million sale consists of substantially all the assets used in its commercial, retail and industrial waste and recycling management services under its Computer Waste Systems business, as well as the equipment sales, rental and maintenance business under its Waste Equipment Sales & Services Co., which services the commercial and industrial waste and recycling industry, Louisville, Ky.-based ISA said.
