Specialty iron castings manufacturer Grede Holdings LLC plans to invest more than $20 million over the next three years to upgrade its Biscoe, N.C., facility to support its growing commercial vehicle business. The investment includes three new molding machines and handling systems, heat treating, machining and an environmentally friendly immersion coating system, the company said March 25. Some 26,000 square feet of manufacturing floor space will be added and more than 35 workers hired.
