ISUZU says the introduction of the new FX models and beefed-up Giga range means it has the broadest range of trucks available in Australia, with over 100 models. The five new FX models fill the product gap between the FV Series and the lower end of the Giga models, while increases in horsepower and torque in the new Giga range have enabled Isuzu to compete in all but the very top heavy-duty weight class. Isuzu Australia Limited director of sales and marketing Phil Taylor said there was now barely a weight class in the Australian truck market in which Isuzu does not compete.
