US EPA approves Monsanto's new dicamba herbicide

The US EPA has approved Monsanto's herbicide, M1768 (dicamba, diglycolamine salt) for use on genetically modified dicamba-tolerant cotton and soybeans. The registration allows use of the XtendiMax with VaporGrip Technology herbicide in 34 states, but will expire in two years if there are problems with pesticide drift or weed resistance.
