Chemtura AgroSolutions up 15% in Q1

Chemtura AgroSolutions' sales rose by 14.8% to $101 million in the first quarter of 2014. Strong demand for pest control products in the Latin American soybean market and acaricides in North America accounted for most of the increase. The $13 million revenue rise came from higher volumes, with a $4 million gain from higher prices being offset by $4 million in unfavourable foreign exchange translations.
