Concluding Remarks 23rd International Eucarpia Symposium, Section Ornamentals, Colourful Breeding and Genetics

This 23rd Eucarpia meeting is coming to its end and I would like to thank very much the organizers for giving me the floor to be the last speaker. I consider this as a special honor, I greatly appreciate... Considering a global feeling about this meeting, I trust you will agree with me that this meeting was very rich and informative due to the high scientific quality of all the oral and poster presentations that have facilitated the excellent exchanges among participants. At this point, it may be necessary to recall that Eucarpia is the Association of European Plant Breeders but, fortunately, meetings have always been broadly open to colleagues from non-European countries. We must be happy that about 40% of this audience is non-European. Such a genetic diversity obviously increases ideas' recombinations for a mutual improvement.
