HAZARDOUS area indicators provider Beka Associates has introduced a full range of panel and field mounting, intrinsically safe and noncertified safe area models, which are locally represented by instruments for hazardous areas supplier Extech Safety Systems. The area models complement Beka's Type n 4 mA/ 20 mA loop-powered indicator introduced in 2009. Beka's intrinsically safe transmitters have fire protection standard Atex, FM, cFM and International Electrotechnical Commission Explosive certification, permitting installation in all gas and dust areas.
