Asia-Pacific metallurgical coal prices closed broadly stale Friday amid slow trade and differing views on the outlook going forward. Premium low-vol hard coking coal was unchanged from Thursday at $111/mt CFR China Friday. This equates to $102.75/mt FOB Australia with Panamax freight netback. The price of tier-two HCC slipped 25 cents to $102.50/mt CFR China.
