The Polish government approved Wednesday a rescue plan for the country’s largest hard coal miner, Kompania Weglowa, that includes a Zloty 2.3 billion ($630.7 million) restructuring plan and consolidation with the energy sector, as well as the closure of the company’s four most unprofitable mines.
