Rhino Resource Partners says it isapplying the finishing touches to an additional long-termsales contract totaling 1.1 million short tons that will boostthe output of its new Pennyrile underground thermal coalmine in western Kentucky by 150,000 st in 2015.The Lexington, Kentucky-based company, in an operationalupdate released last week, said the new three-yearagreement with an unidentified local utility also calls itto supply 400,000 st in 2016 and 550,000 st in 2017 fromPennyrile, also known as Riveredge, in McLean County.
