Atlantic physical thermal coal prices continued to be supported Thursday in a session with a distinct lack of coal offers in the spot market for December and amid uncertainty over price direction, sources said. Platts assessed the price of European-delivered CIF ARA thermal coal basis 6,000 kcal/kg NAR for delivery within the next 15-60 days at $75.05/mt, up 25 cents on the day and at an over two-month high.
