OTC coal prices mixed, as March futures roll off curve

Central Appalachian (CSX) and Powder River Basin 8,800-Btu/lb coal futures contracts for March expired on Tuesday, with prices closing mixed in a low volume session. No trades were seen in the March physical contract, and the CSX and PRB 8,800 markets were limited to a handful of paper trades. In the West, PRB 8,800 financial Q2 2014 traded at $12.75/st for 10,000 st/month.
