The European-delivered CIF ARA physical thermal coal spot market fell another $1 Tuesday, as the current bear run entered its 11th session amid weak fundamentals and low activity. Platts assessed CIF ARA thermal coal basis 6,000 kcal/kg NAR and for delivery within the next 15-60 days at $66.95/ mt, down $1.15 on the day to the lowest close since Platts launched the 15-60-day delivery window at the beginning of March 2013.
