UK and Norway Government Collaborate for Biofuels Projects

London, UK: To decrease the countries dependency on oil, the UK and Norwegian governments have teamed up on a collaborative effort estimated to be worth 2 million pound for funding development of high-value chemicals. While nine biotechnology and bio-refining projects would share just over 1.8 million pound provided by the Technology Strategy Boards (TSB) and Innovation Norway is set to supply 400,000 pound to fund the four Norwegian companies taking part.
