Comparative characterization of mouse-like rodent communities in altitudinal belts of the Kuznetsk Alatau.

The composition and structure of mouse-like rodent communities in altitudinal belts of the Kuznetsk Alatau Mountains are studied, and their comparative characterization is made. It is shown that the complex altitudinal-zonal differentiation of the mountain range leads to the formation of several types of mouse-like rodent communities: forest-steppe, dark coniferous-taiga, chern forests, and mountain tundra. The communities differ in species composition, structure, and total number.
